The Pro-Truth Pledge is a project of Intentional Insights, a volunteer-run educational nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to promoting science-based truth-seeking, rational thinking, and wise decision-making. It is a pledge for politicians and citizens to promote truthful informatoin in political systems. The Pro-Truth Pledge project is led by the volunteer Board of Directors of Intentional Insights with input and consultation of the Advisory Board.

The Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace of 12 November 2018 is a call to come together to face the new threats endangering citizens and infrastructure. It is based around nine common principles to secure cyberspace, which act as many areas for discussion and action.

Nao Vale Tudo is an open letter to Brazilian society urging that all political parties, candidates, citizens, etc. take a strong stand against information disorder. It is a code of ethics for politicians, civic groups and parties to follow developed during 2018 Brazilian election cycle, these focused on principles around the non-use of computational propaganda techniques such as bot or troll networks, non-promotion of false claims, transparency around campaign use of private user data and non abuse and the promotion of a free and open information space.

Media Matters for Pakistan is a web based initiative, designed to act as an informal watchdog over the mainstream media in Pakistan. This platform aims to highlight issues of ethics and ideology in the mainstream media content. We aim to develop a counter narrative to the exceedingly right-wing, moral policing based programming that has taken hold of the media.

The Manilla Principles on Intermediary Liability define various principles for intermediary companies to follow when operating in democratic and authoritarian environments, including that: Intermediaries should be shielded from liability for third-party content; Content must not be required to be restricted without an order by a judicial authority; Requests for restrictions of content must be clear, be unambiguous, and follow due process; Laws and content restriction orders and practices must comply with the tests of necessity and proportionality

We develop and maintain the main independent European platform on disinformation, which assembles the community of experts fighting disinformation and provides them with needed tools and resources to encourage collaboration.

LEXOTA (Laws on Expression Online: Tracker and Analysis) offers a comprehensive overview of laws, policies and other government actions on disinformation in every country in Sub-Saharan Africa. The tool is powered by multilingual data and context-sensitive insight from civil society organisations and uses a detailed framework to assess whether government responses to disinformation are human rights-respecting.
