InformNapalm is a volunteer initiative emerged as a response to the Russian aggression in Ukraine in March 2014.

It was started by journalist Roman Burko (Ukraine) and military expert Irakli Komaxidze (Georgia).

Now it unites the efforts of more than 30 volunteers from over 10 countries.
Our investigations are available for our readers in more than 20 languages.

The Facebook Digital Literacy Library is hosted by Facebook and currently includes learning resources made available by Youth and Media at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.

TSE coordinated a fact-checking coalition, comprising nine renowned fact-checking organizations from the media, named “Coalizão para Checagem – Eleições 2020” (Fact-Checking Coalition – 2020 Elections). The Coalition’s purpose was to verify the factual accuracy of information, news, and stories targeting the electoral process. It encompassed the work of around 100 individuals, including journalists from the fact-checking agencies and officers from the Superior Electoral Court and the 27 state-level EMBs (Regional Electoral Courts).

The purpose of this handbook is to increase public communicators' awareness and understanding of information influence campaigns and develop their ability to respond. The handbook will help public communicators' to recognize common influence techniques more easily and provide them with a toolbox of proactive solutions that can be used to design the most appropriate response. This handbook does not provide a one-size-fits-all solution or a checklist of steps to tick off.

The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) brings together the technology industry, government, civil society, and academia to foster collaboration and information-sharing to counter terrorist and violent extremist activity online.

GIFCT’s strategic planning and programming centers on three pillars:

We define ourselves as an alliance that involves the media, a central newsroom and a network of freelance collaborators . We come together to investigate and disseminate journalistic stories on which a silence imposed by all kinds of censors weighs or that occur in places in Colombia where there are not enough media. Linterna Verde do Research on the online public debate based on areas of interest. They seek to make our work accessible, useful and actionable for civil society, the media and government.

They work with civil society organizations to help them address issues related to their online interactions. They help them interpret information, focus campaigns and face risks unique to the internet and social media. They do not develop or recommend actions aimed at misinforming the public or attacking third parties.

The Election Observation Mission (La Misión de Observación Electoral, MOE) is an election observer group based in Colombia. In the 2019 Colombia elections and in others, including the 2016 peace referendum, they have formed partnerships with Facebook and Twitter both for creating awareness of voting processes and other democratic issues throughout hashtags and online campaigns, and also set up systems for reporting harmful content on those platforms. MOE also worked with a network of universities for online and media monitoring of content during the 2019 elections cycle.
