We are an independent Venezuelan media, which uses all its platforms for the free exercise of journalism and access to information. We address and develop the issues that interest and concern people. We give the voice to the protagonists, to the people.

Ecuador Chequea

Data enriches public debate and therefore strengthens democracy. An informed society is capable of making conscious decisions.

Under this premise, in October 2016 ECUADOR CHEQUEA was born : the first medium dedicated to the verification of public discourse and misleading content that circulates on the Internet. The platform is an initiative of Fundamedios , which since 2007 defends freedom of expression and the press, promotes quality journalism and trains journalists. Dubawa

DUBAWA is Nigeria’s independent verification and fact-checking platform, initiated by the Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism (PTCIJ) and supported by the most influential newsrooms and civic organisations in the country to help amplify the culture of truth in public discourse, public policy, and media practice. It is non-partisan, accepting only to uphold the values of accuracy, balance, transparency, verification, independence, and accountability in all its operations.

Dogruluk Payi

Dogruluk Payi is a Turkish fact checking website that evaluates information based on the follow criteria:

(1) COMMITMENT TO THE IMPARTIALITY AND FAIRNESS PRINCIPLE
Fact-checker makes every analysis according to identical standards. While doing his analysis, he does not concentrate on any political side. It pays attention that the same control process is applied in every analysis and that only the evidence leads to conclusions. It does not make any defense or assume a political position on the analyzed issues.

Doble Check

Doble Check is a public discourse auditing project financed by the University of Costa Rica and which operates as a project affiliated with Radio Stations UCR.

We are a nonpartisan initiative. Our trade is born from fake news , or nonsense, in good Spanish. We also take the pulse of false, misleading, or half-truth claims in political discourse and in media publications.

Disinformation Visualizer

This project visualizes the Atlantic Council’s DFRLab research on coordinated disinformation campaigns. Coordinated disinformation campaigns are more likely to thrive when they go unnoticed and unchecked. This interactive visualizer breaks down the methods, targets, and origins of select coordinated disinformation campaigns throughout the world. There are significant efforts across the industry working to stop the effects of disinformation. These countermeasures take a wide range of forms.

Lexota

LEXOTA (Laws on Expression Online: Tracker and Analysis) offers a comprehensive overview of laws, policies and other government actions on disinformation in every country in Sub-Saharan Africa. The tool is powered by multilingual data and context-sensitive insight from civil society organisations and uses a detailed framework to assess whether government responses to disinformation are human rights-respecting.

Disinfo Portal

DisinfoPortal.org is a one-stop interactive online portal and guide to the Kremlin’s information war. The portal aggregates open source research and journalism from the United States and Europe and presents it in a user-friendly way, with timely multimedia content produced by the Atlantic Council and its partners explaining Russia’s ongoing influence operations.

Dirt Protocol

DIRT is a protocol for decentralized information curation that uses token staking to incentivize honesty. DIRT is not a Token Curated Registry (TCR). DIRT is a protocol to build TCRs.

Digital Polarization Initiative

The Digital Polarization Initiative, or “DigiPo”, is ADP's national effort to build student civic, information and web literacy by having students participate in a broad, cross-institutional project to fact-check, annotate, and provide context to the different news stories that show up in our Twitter and Facebook feeds. DigiPo is spearheaded by ADP's inaugural Civic Fellow Mike Caulfield of Washington State University Vancouver.
