The News Literacy Project is a national education nonprofit offering nonpartisan, independent programs that teach students how to know what to believe in the digital age. Resources include free handbooks, series of PSAs, news literacy quiz, etc.
The News Literacy Project empowers educators to teach students the skills they need to become smart, active consumers of news and information and engaged, informed participants in our democracy.
NLP works with both individuals and media organizations to enhance its program offerings.
NLP recognizes that the demand for news literacy education does not end at a nation’s borders.
