Troll Factory

Troll Factory was developed by a team of experts at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company. The team creates new storytelling methods that combine journalistic practices with digital experiences.

Troll Factory shows you first-hand how information operations work on social media. The goal of the game is to illustrate how fake news, emotive content and bot armies are utilized to affect moods, opinions and decision-making.

Tirto.id

Tirto.id translates the enlightening vision as the necessity of presenting clear, enlightening, insightful, contextual, deep, investigative, factual, supported by a lot of quantitative and qualitative data. - both secondary and primary, and can be accounted for.

We deliberately use a logo with a blend of blue as a symbol of clear and deep water, as well as the selection of lowercase letters as a form of our humble and always open identity that does not have to feel the most correct and javanese.

Take Back the Tech

Take Back The Tech! is a call to everyone, especially women and girls, to take control of technology to end violence against women. It's a global, collaborative campaign project that highlights the problem of tech-related violence against women, together with research and solutions from different parts of the world. The campaign offers safety roadmaps and information and provides an avenue for taking action. Take Back the Tech!

Taiwan FactCheck Center

Taiwan’s first fact-checking center was jointly supported by the Taiwan Media Observation Education Foundation and the Quality Journalism Development Association. The Taiwan Fact Checking Center uses a professional and rigorous team to check false information and rebuild the public's trust in news quality.

The non­governmental organization Media Reforms Center is an educational platform, founded by Mohyla School of Journalism at National University of ‘Kyiv­Mohyla Academy’, which aims to implement high standards of journalism education in Ukraine, raise the level of media literacy, inform about the danger of propaganda and dissemination of fake information in the media.

SiBerkreasi is a national movement to overcome the biggest potential threats that are being faced by Indonesia, namely the spread of negative content through the internet such as hoaxes, cyberbullying and online radicalism.

Share the Facts

The Share the Facts widget provides a new way for readers to share fact-check articles and spread them virally across the Internet. The compact Share the Facts box summarizes the claim being checked and the fact-checkers’ conclusion in a mobile-friendly format. The widgets have a consistent look but can be customized with the fact-checkers’ logos and ratings, such as Pinocchios or the Truth-O-Meter.

RoveR is an app to help you spot real over rubbish news!
1. You can upgrade your skills through a series of in-depth and fun learning modules where you master questions such as "what is credible news?"
2. You can test how good your newly acquired skills are by taking our different challenges and quizzes.
3. You can check the credibility of a website in real time and share your own thoughts by rating the stories you read.

Reveal

REVEAL aims to advance the necessary technologies for making a higher level analysis of social media possible. The project will enable users to reveal hidden ‘modalities’ such as reputation, influence or credibility of information.
